I have always loved Aspen leaves - the way they look like upside down hearts and the sound they make in the wind. But what I like most is the mountains they come from. The first Aspen piece was a gift to a friend for hosting me in her lovely home. Since then I have had lots of people send my leaves from their mountain homes and I prep and paint them before designing a unique piece for their primary home to remind them of the place they love.
